Torch Bookings: Update on Sunday 13 shows: also Sino-French tantrum

Have added Tashi Wangdi, His Holiness Representative to the Americas, to the LA show at midnight Eastern. Have asked B. Raman of Indian intelligence (rtd) to the LA show on his trenchant reporting of the Neo Red Guard element in Tibet: Meng, Xhang, Qiangha, who demand that the sked stay in place, that the torch go to the top of Everest, otherwise the whole cadre will fall into ashes. The New York show will have Gideon Rachman from Europe on the decision by Brown to skip opening day, and the general notion that boycotting the Olympics is futile and counterproductive but showing support for Tibet works.

Also, you have to love this: from this afternoon's FT: a tantrum in Beijing: no more Beaujolais for the cadre?
